Hi there I need a WP theme and plugin that I can create a multi vendor ecommerce marketplace site. Site owner won’t charge vendors by commission on each purchase, but will charge them by monthly subscriptions. Each vendor should put his/her payment method on his/her dashboard. So a buyer buys X Vendor’s product, on checkout buyer sees X Vendor’s payment method
this can be a credit card method or bank IBAN number, so buyer pays accordingly to X Vendor.
Site owner doesn’t want to deal with payments. Because dont want to pay lots of tax, each payment comes into site owners bank so that causes taxes.
No multi vendor plugins works as like that so far. As freelancers, we get asked for many times, site owners dont want to get payment by each purchase’s whole amount. Either wants to get the few commission on each purchase so lets say 2%goes to site owners bank, and 98% goes into vendor’s bank. Or 100% goes into vendor’s bank and site owner gets paid by monthly subscription from vendor. Everyone asks for one of these 2 methods. Not the other common way.
Whoever develops that, all site admins will buy that theme and plugin, that developer will be very rich. 🙂

    Hello,
Some of this can be done with WC Vendors- other aspects would require custom coding and using third party plugins.
We do not have a built-in way to charge for monthly memberships with WC Vendors or WC Vendors Pro.
However, many users have chosen to give their vendors 100% commission and then use a plugin such as Paid Memberships Pro to charge a monthly membership fee.
If you see this thread here, it shows how to give the vendor role to a user after paying the first subscription using paid memberships Pro:

As far as having the payment go directly to the vendor’s bank account- no we do not have this option at all. This would require fairly extensive custom coding, and you would need to likely work with a developer to create this for your site.
