I’ve been trying to get this working for the past few days. I’ve reinstalled WP with only WCVendors, WCVendorsPro and Woocommerce. On Chrome, the “Select Files” doesn’t work but dragging a file works. I’ve disabled all my extensions.

This problem was also occurring with all my themes and plugins installed. I’m wondering if it’s a host issue… although I don’t think it is, because I had the domain merchfans.theweekndbible.com hosted with the same host (no cpanel changes made) and the upload button was working.

Here is the vendor account for testing purposes too.

Found a temporary fix. Will activate license once everything is figured out.

    Alex,
Are your vendors logging in using the my-account page?
I am wondering if they are logging in via a special login that is not properly allowing them access, as in it is not logging in using https.
DO you see any error at all or are the uploaders just not working at all?

Ok this is going to sound very weird but I think the fact that my domain is “merchbible.com” makes it not work.

I tried on ShockHosting, two separate services, one for merch.theweekndbible.com (uploader works) then what really shook me and lead me into believing it’s a domain issue is the fact that I transferred the domain to godaddy and bought their wordpress hosting. I had the domain as merchbible.com and the uploader didn’t work, then I switched the main domain of the wordpress managed hosting to another one I have in there (random domain) and it works….. what tf

Hello Anna, After deactivating all my plugins I realized that WC Vendor conflicts with W3 Total Cache plugin.(it affects the image uploader)

    Hello,
I found an issue while testing yesterday.
Please if each of you can confirm:
    1. Does the image upload work if the vendor uses the DROP function (drags and drops an image file) instead of using the Select File button?
    2. When you are logged in as admin, go to: wp admin > products > add product. Are you, as admin, able to add an image to your product when you click on the Add Product Image in the right column?
    3. If you use FIREFOX rather than CHROME, can the vendors add an image using the Select File button?

My vendor image upload is working fine.

It was loggin the user out. Only if vendor was adding a feature image through the vendor dashboard/ add product. I disabled all plugin like the “READ BEFORE REQUESTING SUPPORT!” thread said to do. Updated everything and only activated Woo and WC vendors.

Now I gotta figure out what was causing the issue. But it seems like the issue isn’t with “WC Vendors”

Thanks for the plugin. Looking forward to using it.

    @planterguy Guy,
How are your vendors logging in?
Are they logging in via the WooCommerce my-account page?
Or are you using some kind of special login from your theme?
They may not be properly logged in via https.
If you login as a vendor using the my-account page, does this still happen?

    Hey Anna,
Here is my situation. I’m running everything on a staging site (no SSL certificate). My goal is to get familiar with the marketplace then push live once I’m comfortable.

Right now I’m testing by login (edge or firefox browser) on http (not secure) site by the my account page. (using the code you provided to redirect to the pro dashboard.)

I cannot pinpoint what is causing the user to be logged out. It only happens when uploading the main product image.

See screen shot for the error.

    I really appreciate your help.

Ok- since this is such a different issue form the original topic, would you please open a new topic (you can link to this thread for reference) with a brief description of this issue.
then, PLEASE fill out the requested information when opening the topic (admin password & login, woocommerce system status, etc.
That will help us help you.

It must be a SSL Certificate issue that is logging the user out. Im adding one now to test. The site is bouncing between secure and not secure which is logging the user out.

Google helped me find this thread:

Yes, that is why I suggested in one of my last posts that perhaps the vendors were not staying logged in due to an ssl issue. Then you said you were not using SSL…

If they are not securely logged in in the first place, this can happen (make sure they login using the my-account page)
Secondly, install Really Simple SSL plugin, and see after running through the options, if that takes care of insecure SSL content on the site that can create these issues.
