    Hey guys.

I know this type of topic was opened before, I have read through the forum and knowledge base but didn’t find the solution to my problem.

Before we go live with the website, I wanted to test if the wc-vendors is set up correctly. So I created a (free) test product, to see if everything works as it should. If I’m logged in as a admin, I can see order in the backend admin dashboard as part of the woocommerce. However, if I login with the vendor account, the order doesn’t show on the frontend.

The product is free, caregorized as simple, not virtual, and it’s processing. I’m attaching the picture.

(I did just unistall user roles plugin though, that’s right after I had to reset the wc-vendors because it deleted the vendor user role. We fixed that issue already, so hopefully that’s not the case here).

Just in case it is the roles still being messed up — Read and apply this KB article: https://www.wcvendors.com/kb/reset-roles/

1.) Is the test product OWNED by the vendor?

2.) Does the vendor have the role “Vendor”?

3.) Are the dates correct on the Dashboard so that the sale is within the order range?

4.) Is the order status Processing or Completed (meaning payment received, this is when an order gets logged to the vendor). You already said yes on this, but hey, might help someone in the future searching the forums.

    Let me know!

I applied the article you sent, yes.

    1. Product is owned by the desired vendor.

    2. The vendor has the role vendor.

    3. Dates are correct.

    4. Status processing, I’m attaching the image.

p.s. Just checked, it’s not even showing in the backend.

    Hello,

Has the commission been logged? If the commission hasn’t been logged it won’t display either.

    cheers,

    Jamie.

    Hi Jamie.

The default commission is set, if that’s what you mean.

No, what he means is if the commission has been added to the commission table — wp-admin > WooCommerce > Commission — Is there anything in there?

No, nothing there. It was a free product though if that makes a difference.

Interesting. WC Vendors Free and Pro use the same commission table, so that wont make a difference at all which plugin you use, or even which version.

Are you sure the PRODUCT you purchased is OWNED by a VENDOR with the user role Vendor?

Yes, but also what I meant was that the test product was FREE as of price was $0

Well, if the product is free, then there’s no commission to log. Try testing a product with a price on it. 🙂

There isn’t any commission to log, but even if the product is free, and perhaps sometimes products can be (coupons?), they still need to be shipped. So my thought process is that even though it’s free, vendor still needs to ship it, so still needs to see it under orders. And perhaps even under sales to keep track of it, even though no commission has been made off of it. Sounds logical? 🙂

Hi guys, any news regarding the issue?

    Thanks.

    We tested a free product.

1.) Vendor receives email with the product details showing $0.

2.) Commission log shows $0 due — it is indeed logged.

3.) Sale shows up on the Vendor Dashboard.

    Hello,

I too have been unable to replicate this in any of my test environments. The only thing I could suggest is the following

    1. Create a new vendor
    2. Log in as new vendor
    3. Create free product
    4. Create a product with a price
    5. As a customer buy both new products
    6. Check the results.

It sounds like your site config is messed up somewhere.

    cheers,

    Jamie.

    Hi guys.

Thanks for the help. I do get an email, the only part where I get stuck is the sales/orders part.

I will try those steps although I’m afraid it won’t do much difference.

I think I will completely recreate my website from scratch and see what happens there. Will post the update here so anyone else who might have the same problem in the future can rule some things out.

    Thanks

    Hey guys.

So, I finally recreated my website the way it was. The WC Vendors plugins is working as it should. So, even if your products are free, they still show up where they should.

As Jamie pointed out, obviously something messed up my code.

Thanks and sorry for the trouble.

Glad you got it all sorted out. No need to apologize for the trouble, because it was no trouble at all. Have fun on your site.

Hi, I am having similar problem here. Order not showing at vendor dashboard.
    1. Product comes with price
    2. Product is owned by vendor
    3. Vendor has the “Vendor” role
    4. Dates are correct
    5. Order is currently set as “Processing”
    6. The vendor’s commission is logged at WC Vendors > Commission
    7. The wp_pv_commission exist along with the order
    8. Vendors got the order confirmation email

In the screenshot you are showing the my-account/orders page, which is the page that the customer will visit to see purchases they have made.
You need to go to the vendors dashboard, then to orders, to see the vendor’s orders/products that have been purchased by a customer. yoursite.com/vendor_dashboard/
