    Hi,
If I am a customer, will WC Vendor Pro allow me to add products from different vendors to the cart and checkout with a single order? Or, will the orders come separately or do I need to checkout for each vendor individually.

Another thing, as a vendor, how do I get my payments? I mean, where can I do it from. I can’t figure it out.

    Thanks

Yup! You can buy as many different products from different vendors as you like.

As a vendor, they get payments from you, the site admin. How you choose to do that is up to you. Here’s the 3 most common methods:

1.) PayPal Adaptive Payments – Included in WC Vendors Free. Vendors enter their PayPal email on their Vendor Dashboard, and when your buyer checks out with PayPal Adaptive Payments, the vendors can instantly, or on a schedule, receive their commissions.

2.) Stripe – $49, http://www.wcvendors.com – Lets buyers checkout with a credit card directly on your SSL checkout page. Vendors connect to their Stripe account through the Vendor Dashboard, and instantly receive commissions when a product is purchased.

3.) Manual Payment — Any way you see fit to pay the vendors what they are owed. You can see what they are owed in the reports, and in the commission table. Once you pay a vendor, you mark the commissions to them as “paid” instead of “due”.

    Cheers

    Hi Ben,
Thank you for your time, you read and responded quickly. Sorry to say that you have missed the point which I actually wanted to know. So I will try to put it as simply and specifically again. Could you please take time to answer them again.

I am a tech guy and I have been going through ecommerce marketplaces for about some months now and have a small business idea bugging in my head for more than a year. Things are now getting serious for me so I am going to plan the entire thing out. That’s why I need to now some very specifics which will determine the future of my business.

    1. Well, I know I can add products from different vendors, what I wanted to know that can I checkout all of them in a single order? Several ecommerce sites create a parent order and all the other orders from different vendors are placed under it as child orders, which has individual status. But some other sites only create one single order and put all into it, but the admin can check the vendors separately. So, how does this “multi order” for WC Vendor PRO work actually? I am considering woocomm per product shipping and invoices as a future plan so, I need to know how these orders will be handled.

    2. I figured that all woocommerce gateways are ok with yours too. But what if a multiple order exceeded the limit (6-10) for chain and parallel payments. I went through your knowledge base and couldn’t find anything related to it. What if I am to get all the money and then pay them manually for multi orders or withdraw requests.

    3. What I want to know that will a vendor will need to separately email me for a withdrawal request or do you have a system for that inside the plugin.

    Thanks.

1.) Yes! A customer can add as many products, from as many vendors as he wishes, and purchase everything in one order. The commissions are correctly calculated for each vendors products within that order, and all works seamlessly. Try WC Vendors Free. It works the exact same way. 🙂 You should not buy Per Product Shipping, because in the next release of WC Vendors Pro v1.1.0, we will have the same functionality, yet better, built into Pro. Save yourself the $79! 🙂

2.) PayPal does have a hard limit of 6 payment splits per purchase. As such, checkout would fail. PayPal Adaptive Payments is the only gateway that this is a limitation for. In order to avoid this, you would simply SCHEDULE your payments to vendors out, rather than INSTANTLY pay them. There are many scheduling options for PayPal AP as well as manual payment options with PayPal in your WC Vendors Settings on the Payments tab.

3.) All depends on how you have it setup. If you schedule or instant pay with PayPal, vendors would not need to email you. If you manually pay them in some other fashion, then whatever system you choose works best for you, go for it. 🙂
