    WC Vendors Support

    Having a problem? Good! That’s what we’re here for! WC Vendors is operated by two people, Ben and Jamie. That means two people code everything, handle all support, and keep making WC Vendors #1. This is why we charge $149 for Pro, versus Magento’s multi vendor platform being $1700 (ouch!). To help keep our costs low, and continue providing you with excellent support, we need YOUR help! Please be sure to read this entire article, and follow its instructions. Most of the time, you’ll never need us, but when you do, we’re here to help!*

    Cant get something to work?
    Disable all plugins besides WooCommerce and WC Vendors. Make sure you are running the latest version of WordPress, WooCommerce, and WC Vendors. Test to see if your issue is resolved. If it is, there’s a poorly written plugin causing a compatibility issue. Re-activate plugins one-by-one, testing after each new activation, to find the culprit.

    Change themes to the Storefront theme. It’s free. wp-admin > Themes > Add New, type Storefront, and install/activate. Storefront is written by WooThemes and is a 100% guaranteed WooCommerce compatible theme. If it doesnt break with Storefront, but breaks with your theme, it’s your theme that is causing problems.

    wp-admin > WooCommerce > System Status — This is the info page for WooCommerce, that shows you if you have problems. Anything with an X, or the color red, and that means YOUR SITE IS DEAD! 🙂 Fix *everything* in red before asking for support. So many times we login to a members site to find a problem on this page, and fixing it fixes every issue.

    Have you checked out the KnowledgeBase?
    Why not? It’s full of dozens and dozens of articles on common customization tips, the users manuals for Free and Pro, as well as a bunch of other articles that are quite useful. Click “KnowledgeBase” on the menu to the left.

    Have you searched the forums?
    We get asked the same questions literally every single day. Questions we’ve answered before, dozens, and dozens of times. At the top of this page you’ll see a search box next to our logo. Type in a few key words and search!

    Configuration Problems?
    A lot of times folks ask us questions that get a reply “Check this box in your settings”. That really stinks. The options are right there in your WC Vendors settings. Be sure to review your settings and understand what each option does. This is in wp-admin > WooCommerce > WC Vendors. There’s a ton of options! Check em out! 🙂

    Custom coding?
    Every marketplace is different, and we know that. If you’re looking for help custom developing your site — we can’t help. We’re adding features to all of our plugins all day long, and always improving, feature building, bug fixing, and supporting them. For customization, we recommend http://codeable.io as they are qualified to work on WC Vendors and all customizations related to it.

    Google means 1 with 100 zeros. That’s about how many links are on Google. Chances are, if you google “WooCommerce ” you’ll find your answer. WC Vendors works *with* WooCommerce. We arent WooCommerce. We’re just the software that allows your vendors to sell products, WooCommerce handles all the rest. A lot of questions are WooCommerce questions, not WC Vendors questions. Use Goooooooooooogle and give it a shot!
