    Hello,

    1.
I have marked some of my orders as refunded in my wp-admin / woocommerce / orders and then tried to mark the commission of those orders as revered wp-admin / woocommerce / commissions but the status of those commissions does not change. It still say paid instead of reversed. I have tried a couple of times and refreshed the site too. Is there a time delay as to when this takes action or am I doing something wrong?

    2.
Ben, did I understand correctly that commissions marked as ‘reveresed’ will not show up in the vendors dashboard? Or if they did show up before, they will not show up after I changed the status of the commission to reversed?

    Many thanks,
    Kris

1.) That’s actually working as intended — It wont mark paid commissions as reversed, that way you know that you need to get the money back from the vendor still. If the commission is DUE, it will mark as reversed when refunding an order, otherwise it leaves it unchanged.

2.) Correct! Commissions marked “reversed” will not show the order on the Free or Pro Dashboard.

But that is not working for me.

    1. The ‘paid commission’ is a result of the last orders which went wrong because of the coupon. The vendor has refunded the money and I have refunded my commission back to the buyer. I should be able to mark that order as reversed, because I did not make money on it, no?
Since I am using Adaptive Payment systems which instantly pays out my commission I never have DUE as a status. The only time I have a reversed in my commissions table, is when somebody tried to order and got rejected by PayPal. Please advice.

I followed your instructions from yesterday, via Test Gateway to see if the coupon is working (working fine now). But that test purchase is now in my vendors dashboard. I would like remove it.

    2. Good, but how do I manage to mark test orders as reversed then?

    3. In general, due to loads of testing, I ve got a messy order history and my vendors have lots of test orders in their dashboards
and I would really like to start fresh. Can you please tell me again how I can delete them in the FTP, I guess it was? Like proper deleting them so that they are deleted from the vendors dashboard as well. Having the pie charts of data in the dashboard is really cool but I would like to start fresh with real orders.

    Thanks Ben,
    Kris

1.) Correct, so when with PayPal, if you refund an order, you will have to manually mark the commission as “reversed”. But of course you don’t even really need to bother with it unless you *want* to. You can just mark the order as refunded and call it a day.

1.b) To remove the commission for the WC Vendors Test Gateway, wp-admin > WooCommerce > Commissions, check it, then bulk actions > mark reversed > apply. Done! 🙂 You can also delete the order by just sending it to the trash bin too.

    2.) See 1.b.

3.) Same as 1.b, too! Mark commission reversed, and then trash the order. 🙂 FTP won’t be useful, this is all database stuff. FTP is for files, phpmyadmin is for databases. All of your order and commission data is in the database, it’s the plugin files that tell the database what to do.

    1) The order got rejected by PayPal, so I didnt get to do anything, the system send out a failed order email and marked it as reversed automatically.

The other times I refunded an order via Paypal, and I marked the order as refunded but I cant mark the commission as revered, it just wont change from paid to reversed.

1b) is not a problem because that commission is marked as reversed.

    2.
    In general:
I mark the commission as reversed and hit apply and nothing happens. They stay as ‘paid’ even tho I have marked the orders as ‘refunded’. That’s why I am asking if I am doing anything wrong?

    3. I only did one WC Vendors Test Gateway, which was today and that one is marked as reversed. But all my other orders where real orders, which then got refunded by the vendors. So money was made. Why cant I mark those orders as reversed?

Order numbers 3554, 3548, 3547, 3273 all need to be reversed.
Only a view orders by Wunder Workshop store went trough ok.

    Are you having any luck?

Looks like your WordPress database prefix is all screwed up. Give me a few, checking it out now. I think the previous host had screwed that up, and when we imported your site to our webservers of course their error persists because it’s a straight import. Standby………

When I last checked, #3559 was still showing in the vendors dashboard, which I understand shouldnt be the case with reversed orders?

Thanks Ben, just read your new message via email whilst typing this. Thanks for checking, that really would make it a lot clearer knowing that the site behaved strange compared to what it should do because than it all makes a bit more sense 😉

    Cheers!

Jamie just gave me an education. Your site is fine. You have to mark paid statuses to reversed in two steps.

1.) Mark the paid commissions to due

2.) Mark the due commissions to reversed

Apparently, this weird ass method is to prevent admins from accidentally refunding commissions before they get the admin money back. So it’s actually working as intended. I never knew this, and been coding the plugin for over 2 years now. Go figure eh? Some shit I learn so late surprises me. 🙂 Give that a shot and let me know.

Order #3559 doesnt exist, so it should not be showing up at all, that’s correct.

Ok, cool, marking it as due and then reversed works. Always learn new things 😉

#3559 was showing in the vendors dashboard, even tho it was reversed. For some reason, now the order item has been removed in the vendors dashboard, but the order number is still in the vendors dashboard. Just on a blank line. Is that how its intended or is there a way to get rid of that order all together so the vendor will only see actual orders?

    Thanks Ben and Jamie

Is there a way to purge reversed test orders from the system ? I followed the steps listed above but reversing then deleting didn’t work

KP Beauty — Open phpmyadmin, go to pv_commission table, and then delete all the rows. Each row represents a commission. If they are all test commissions, deleting the rows will reset them entirely.

    Hello,

I am still experiencing that orders show in my vendors dashboard, even tho the commission is reversed and the orders deleted. Any idea why?

Orders 3554, 3548 and 3547 all shouldn’t show here theoretically (see screen grab).

Order 3559 was also a test and behaved a bit strange. First, #3559 was still showing in the vendors dashboard, even tho it was reversed orders.
Now the order item has been removed in the vendors dashboard, but the order number is still in the vendors dashboard. Just on a blank line. Is that how its intended or is there a way to get rid of that order all together so the vendor will only see actual orders?

    Cheers,
    Kris
