    Hi Ben

    Quick (I hope) question

    Vendor store settings – There is a field to add ‘shop banner’ under store and a field to add ‘store banner’ under branding

    Which is the one to use – this will definitely confuse my vendors. I am not having any success with either the or the icons.

    The icons should show on left of vendor store and also in store list accessed via top menu.

    Finally – any news on shipping update?

    These are all to do with the theme we are using rather than WCV.

    The theme has been developed before pro was released and not updated to add support – it uses avatars in some places rather than the banner/icon.

    @helloand
    – we will resolve this for you

    @wcv – stand down

    @wcvendors – whilst not an issue for us, your [wcv_vendorslist] shortcode would continue to use the avatar even if pro is installed – as per templates/front/vendor-list.php – pro doesn’t appear to override this?

    We have a custom version of the file in the theme, hence it being our problem this time around.

    Guess other users might not and would benefit from either a fix or if it’s intentional perhaps a clarification on how things should work?

    Hi Ben,

    What theme do you develop? Always happy to see developers here. Thanks! 🙂

    The wcv_vendorslist shortcode does still technically work, although it’s not really intended to be used when using WC Vendors Pro. In Pro, if you are using /vendor_shops/ as your permalink for the Vendor Stores, then /vendor_shops/ shows a full list of the vendor stores right in there and uses the shop banner and shop icon. This functionality essentially replaces wcv_vendorslist.

    The reason we allow you to use both, is quite simple, it gives the website admin time to test Pro out on their website, customize it, integrate it, and update all the menus. Some members will install Pro and use it as is, some will take a week to customize and tweak the hell out of it. All depends on the marketplace and the installation. 🙂

    Cheers
