    I am using WC vendor PRO and WPML, but after switching to another language all stylings on the dashboard are gone, you may see the below pic, can you please help?

    No idea! WPML setup a server with WC Vendors Free & Pro on it, and conducted an audit to ensure everything was coded correctly for translations, and it came back with a 100% success. Which means to you, that WPML works, so it’s something either you’re doing wrong, something with your theme, or something with WPML. Not really sure where to advise you next……

    Hi Ben, I have been finding answers for weeks (similar thing here but not useful: https://www.wcvendors.com/help/topic/conflict-with-wpml/), testing on different themes but it is still not working properly, do you mind help checking if I give you the admin access?

    Thanks.

    No can do, asking me for help with getting WPML is like asking a six year old to drive across the country in a RV. 😉 Never used WPML, and it’s outside the scope of our support…..

    Hi Ben, when you say it is compatible with WPML do you mean by one language or multi-languages? Coz I am building a marketplace that needs Eng + Traditional Chinese, but it now allows me only in one language and when I switch to another one the whole styling is broken and links are corrupted as well. And I really need your help.

    Hi Lydia, thanks for your help!! May I know if I can translate it into multilingual or just 1 language?

    Hi Fox,

    I’m not really sure. WPML put the tests of our plugins (all of them) through their own testing servers. I would ASSume (read the first three letters in caps of course!) that they tested extensively. How they use their own plugin and how they test is all up to them, but they reported no issues whatsoever. They asked us for copies of our plugins because of help requests on their forums regarding WC Vendors, it always turned out to be “user error” so to say rather than an issue with WC Vendors. We have in the past missed some strings by mistake, but those are all long since patched up many many months ago.

    Of course, if you find a deficiency on our end that is broken, and you can see the actual problem, we’re always more than happy to fix any issue with WC Vendors. WPML audited v1.3.0 of Pro, so it was indeed pretty recent.

    Hi Ben and Lydia, just discovered that WC Vendor does not work well with multilingual websites, WC vendor can be localised to 1 language via WPML or Loco Translate but if you need it be used in several languages it may not be workable (they have to share the same language or pages and URLs will break).

    WC Vendor Free is multilingual-feasible, as you can create pages in different languages by putting shortcodes on them, but WC Vendor Pro does not, since it requires users to identify the main dashboard page (one and only one) despite it has a shortcode function too, and point back to those Free functional pages (e.g. settings, orders, vendor dashboard free, they are functioning separately but not if used with PRO dashboard), if we shift to another language those links will corrupted.

    Any idea…? >”<

    Hello all! I am new here, just wanting to confirm that there is an issue with WPML plugin. Client of mine is using it too.

    Styles output on dashboard and feedback page is not displaying correctly. I have made filters to rewrite here so that they are used always even if main language is changed.

    $view_dashboard		= apply_filters( 'wcv_view_dashboard', 	$current_page_id == $dashboard_page_id ? true : false );
     		$view_feedback		= apply_filters( 'wcv_view_feedback', 	$current_page_id == $feedback_page_id ? true : false );

    My conclusion is that you need to rewrite condition on checking the pages for multi-language, because WPML recreates same pages with different ID, so in case of WPML condition should be

    in_array( $current_page_id, array( /** Main and translated pages **/ ) )

    Hope this helps in a way.

    Hello,

    The findings are correct and we do output everything on a single page but as @movingsone has pointed out, you can use our filters to override what is used to load our styles. Unless someone with good knowledge of WPML and other translations plugins can write some code to replace our existing code there isn’t much I can do about this. As I do not have the time to learn 2+ extra plugins to support the multilingual aspects at this time. How do I test for the other pages when I don’t even know what they are?

    cheers,

    Jamie.
