    Hi Anna,

I changed the ‘Commission Due’ to ‘Earnings Due’ in wcvendors-pro.pot but the changes does not take affect in the Pro Dashboard. Just wondering if I need to do anything else after updating the file?

    Thanks

    Hello,
Well that theme should not affect the dashboard templates at all.
Please try directly modifying the template and saving it to your child theme.
    Copy this template:
    wp-content\plugins\wc-vendors-pro\templates\dashboard\reports\overview.php
To this location (you may have to create the folders):
    wp-content/themes/your-child-theme/wc-vendors/templates/dashboard/reports/overview.php

Now, modify this line, should be line 31:

    <h3><?php _e( 'Commission Due', 'wcvendors-pro'); ?></h3>

Change the Commissions Due to whatever is appropriate.
Save. Check and see if the modified template has applied the changes.

    Hi Anna,

Do you mean it is the Theme which is preventing the changes in the .pot file to take into effect? The reason I ask is because ‘Commission Due’ was just an example of all changes I want to do. I want to change all instances of commission in the Vendor Dashboard, Order Details to Earnings or something.

    Thank you

    Hello,
No- not that theme. There are a few that override our templates, and so I was checking to see if you were using one of those themes, but you are not.
I am not sure why that one string in the .pot did not change for you.
Did you change them using the language files, such as explained in our kb article?

I just changed the string in wc-vendors-pro/languages/wcvendors-pro.pot file. Actually its not just that one string, none of the strings are changing. I did install POEdit and Loco Translate but did not do the steps as mentioned in POEdit. I was not sure to just change few strings, do I have to do all the steps like creating the .mo file etc. I am sorry if I was mistaken, I went through the forums and this is what I concluded. Please advise.

    Thanks
