When i “purchase” variable products on my dev site it is still giving the admin the shipping charges. Not simple products that is fixed but variable products shipping is still going to me.
Only simple products can be bought on my live site still, haven’t updated that because of this issue. The shipping issue doesn’t persist on my live site but i can’t update until the shipping on variable products is fixed on the new version. I don’t know what to do about this obviously, as it is out of my control but this issue has been going on almost 3 weeks now and I along with my vendors are losing money.
Is there any explanation or time frame i can get as far as a fix. I understand you are all busy with updates and support with people like myself, but this is a serious issue i am dealing with that needs to be fixed.

I’ll let Jamie know, Adam.. the fix for this was included in the update 1.4.3, but there may still be an issue, obviously since it looks like you did update WC Vendors free to v1.9.11 and WC Vendors Pro to v1.4.3
Is this happening for both newly created and previously existing variable products on your dev site? If you create a new variable product does this still occur with the shipping funds?Yes it is happening on both new and old, i just created a new product and the problem still persists.

Thank you- I have confirmed this and we’re working on it again. At one time this was fixed, so how it is happening again I do not know.
We’ll be on it!Also the Free Shipping over section isn’t working. It is charging the maximum shipping i had put in instead of overriding it like it’s suppose to. I set it to free shipping over $50.01 and “made” a $63 order it’s still charging me the maximum shipping fee.

I think Jamie is still working on the Variable shipping allocation … does the Free Shipping over “x” amount issue only occur with variable products?@asportsman
Jamie will be looking into this today (tonight, as he is on the other side of the planet).
He’ll be using your dev site to investigate.
If the shipping always goes to the admin it means its unable to calculate the shipping at all, so he needs to find out why the shipping is not able to be calculated.Ok thank you @fervous for the update
I still cant update because this problem still persists. Is there any kind of update as this has been going on for a long time now, and is still costing me orders. Is there any way to get a time frame to this solution or something besides leaving me in the dark on this?

I know you are waiting, and as soon as Jamie has found a resolution or some answer to this issue, I will be sure to notify you. This seems to be quite the difficult issue to replicate and debug.It’s happening with my site too – which is annoying since when I receive the payments I get charged a paypal fee, have to figure out who the payment was supposed to go to and manually transfer the payment to them (who presumably also gets charged a paypal fee for accepting the shipping they should have been sent).
So it’s costing not only time, but money each time in pp fees.
It’s happening on both old products and new ones added after the update. We’re using vendor shipping (country table rate) and everything is paid to vendors (all shipping and all commissions)
