    Hi Support Team,

I have WC Vendors free and I am planning to get the pro version.

I want to know is there anyway to change the default stock limit from 0 to 1 so that the vendor can sell only one piece in a product

The attached screenshot will explain how the default layout should be.

Is the pro version do have this feature?

Sure! You can do this, but you can only do this with WC Vendors Pro. Free wouldnt be able to because of how wp-admin loads forms.

Once you install and activate Pro, add from this code to your themes functions.php file. Customize as you see fit! 🙂

Thanks for your quick reply 🙂

Do we need to call the function inside the file?
I just copy paste the code which you sent into the theme function.php file is that ok?

Yup. And then you change it so that the values are what you want them to be.

Of course, this requires WC Vendors Pro, wont work with Free.

The problem is when we set the stock quantity as 1 it shows stock status as out of stock and when we set the quantity as 2 after purchasing that 2 products it still showing the product is available instead of out of stock. Is there any solution for this?

    Thanks in advance

    Hello,
What shipping method are you using… and if you are using our Vendor Shipping, does your vendor have shipping rates set, and a store address set?

    Hello,
If you use the code that Ben gave you- I think you can only have one in stock at any time of any product on the entire marketplace. It is an all or nothing setting.

How do you have your WooCommerce stock settings arranged? Could you show me a screenshot of this page:
wp admin > woocommerce > settings > products > inventory

Wow – ok I do not read your language– but it looks like you set everything ok.

SO even when you change the Out of Stock to In Stock—- it changes back when you save the product?
You list a product, click manage stock, list the QTY as “1” , select “in stock” , and select Sold Individually. Click SAVE.
Now, it does not save your stock status as in stock? Is that what you are saying?

And if you list the stock QTY as 2… it does not show out of stock if you sell those 2?

    @Sunweb
Only the admin can create categories.
The vendors can use the categories that have been created by admin when listing a product.
