Am a bit confused on how to setup a vendor shop page different from the normal woo commerce shop page. Please can you guide me through the process?

The vendor store page just shows the store header, if you have that enabled in your WC Vendors settings and Pro settings (wp admin > woocommerce > wc vendors > Pro : Enable Store Headers on Shop Pages) and (wp admin > woocommerce > WC Vendors > general: Enable vendor shop headers)
Otherwise, we hook into the WooCommerce archive-product.php template to show the vendor’s store. This should then show the store header/banner and icon, as well as that vendor’s products on the page.Hello,
Thank you for your response. It seems that I got you confused.
The main shop page is configured to show product categories however when I use the vendors URL (www.sitename.com/vemdors/shopname) it shows the sites product category and not the vendor’s products.
how can I make it show only the vendors products and not the whole sites product category (I am trying to have a separate vendor storefront that isn’t connected to the Woocommerce shop page)?Hope I didn’t get you confused again

You need to have your shop page settings to show products only- not categories and products.
We hook into the woocommerce archive-product.php template to show the vendor store pages- so please set the shop display for the products page to products only:
wp admin > woocommerce > settings > products > display: Shop Page Display = Products Only
