Hi to you and your professional team

I’ve been installed wc vendor plugin then I’ve purchased pro version.

but It got no change in appearance (looks like wc vendors free plugin).

and when I click on the Add Product url it redirects me to the same page (vendor_dashboard)

    Current version : 1.0.2

    Hi Mohamad!

    Easy fix! 🙂

Click the Pro Tab. See how there is now a Pro Dashboard? That is your new Vendor Dashboard! You still keep your old one on your site, don’t delete it or change any of the pages on the Pages tab.

The new dashboard is @ /dashboard and the old dashboard is still /vendor_dashboard/

    Cheers

    Ben

That’s not the Dashboard that we installed. It sounds like you already had a page called Dashboard, so ours was not installed. Create a new page, call it Pro Dashboard, and give it a shortcode of wcv_pro_dashboard and then once that is created, go to wp-admin > WooCommerce > WC Vendors > Pro and set the page to the new page you just created.

    Cheers

    Hi Mohamad,

Change your themes template for the Pro Dashboard page from Default to something else, preferably something that says Full Width or something like that. If it doesnt exist, ask the theme developer to create you a template for that as all good themes should have a full width template and most all of them do. That will get rid of the sidebar and make the pro dashboard page less squishy.

    What is a current link?

Is this for the stores page or a single store page?

This plugin.. man.. I just looked and they don’t even have the hooks set correctly for the single store page so you would need to override that template in your child theme and fix it for them by adding in the “wcv_store_after_main_content” hooks or you need to get the plugin authors to at least fix that.

Your plugin guy you are asking questions to is not reading code properly. 😉

The “wcv_store_after_main_content” hook is fired on the vendor store archive page. Tell him to look at:

    /templates/store/archive-vendor_store.php

…/and he’ll see the action being fired. 😉

… wow. of course I know that. How else would I have come up with wcv_store_after_main_content… This is getting silly now.
The problem that hook is not being added to the single store page. Which they are not adding anything plugin specific there and yet they are using a custom template. Tell them to look at /templates/store/singe-vendor_store.php

The version you sent me is 1.0.3 and unless they have changed it they need to add a hook there since they are creating there own template.

I can’t believe all this back and forth. Tell them to look at /templates/store/singe-vendor_store.php

There is no action for wcv_store_before_main_content or wcv_store_after_main_content.

I looked at 1.0.5 it’s the same. Why is this so hard….

I recommend you just create your own template in your child theme to override theres. Then add to two actions and you should be set.

From your wp-admin > WooCommerce > System Status page:

    WC Vendors Pro [?]

Pro dasboard page: ✕ -Your pro dashboard page cannot be set to your free dashboard page. Click here to change.
    Feedback form page: ✔ – #2373
    Vendor stores slug: ✔ – /vendor_stores/

You are seeing the old Dashboard, because you arent using the Pro Dashboard.

I’ve fixed this on your site and now your vendors should go to /pro-dashboard/ to add/edit products. You currently are sending people to /dashboard/ which is the WP User Front End Pro plugins product form. Since that’s not our plugin, and one you probably have no reason to even have installed, that’s why /dashboard/ does not look like WC Vendors Pro, you have that page set for a different plugin.

    /pro-dashboard/ — Use that. 😉

    Hello,

It looks like your theme isn’t using the standard woocommerce actions and filters to override the theme layouts. We rely on theme developers using the correct way to override layouts for these pages to work properly. If they aren’t doing this then you’ll have to copy the layouts from your theme into the archive- and single- templates we provide so that your themes layout is applied to these pages also.

I’ve seen it quite a few times now that themes hardcode the layouts into the archive-product.php page as well as the loop-start and loop-end so it might be a good idea to check these.

    cheers,

    Jamie.
