Hello, It has come to my attention that this system does not make coupons that take off the website owners commission. This is quite surprising to me, as surely this is an obvious thing to implement. If we want coupons we are unlikely to be discounting our vendors rather ourselves.

What files do I need to send to a developer in order for them to setup a coupon system that takes discounts off the website owners commission?

Hello,

Admin coupons are currently not supported completely due to our commissions being calculated at the product level.

I’m not sure your developer could work this out either. This is all done in the admin/class-wcvendors-commission-controller.php.

If it worked, ever, it was due to there being only one vendor, and in that case sometimes it would have calculated properly.
However, it will not with more than one vendor in the cart.

Although it has not been worked out yet how we can provide discount/coupons for site wide that can be applied and calculated properly, it will likely be worked on in the future, yes.

Hi Lewis,

Codeable.io would be our #1 recommendation for custom coding projects, short of using us. Our schedule sucks right now. We’re slammed with 1.4.0, WooCommerce 3.0, our bookings integration in beta, and many more things being completed. Codeable.io does not pay us a penny, and they are all WC Vendors/WooCommerce certified, too. They just do nice work so we send people their way.
