Hi there I’m using WooCommerce Wholesale Prices and it’s not showing up in the vendor add product form. Is there a way to customize the form or have a field added?

Sure! Have you read the KnowledgeBase article on adding custom fields to the Pro add/edit product form?

We’re working on addons for WC Vendors Pro starting shortly, with a single plugin to install to bind the two together. But we dont have one for this one yet, it’s in the queue! If you cant figure it out now, give us 30 days and we’ll get it. 😉

Yeah I was reading it, but my site has a lot of plugins and i cringe at messing with the functions .php file as it’s never gone well.I’m wondering until you get the plugin made if i can have the whole sale pricing listed in a private post and just give selected roles teh permission to read private posts? I’m just not entirely sure what exactly a private post was originally designed for and how it may work. I’m VERY new to all this . and a little dissapointed at word press for being so Damn optimistic and encouraging about everything that CAN happen lol.

Sorry to tag onto an old thread but it may be useful for others like me who were searching, seems like an easy solution just out of grasp.

Also using ‘WooCommerce Wholesale Prices’, their free versions does everything required. Adds a wholesale price field to the backend and displays only to user role ‘Wholesale customer’, also includes regular price for them to compare on single product page.

Just need to add it into product-edit.php
I’ve looked at the kb add custom fields but cannot get it to work. Not sure if that’s because the field already exists. The plugin uses “wc_wholesale_prices”

If you download and look through our Simple Auctions integration plugin, you can see how we took the fields and integrated the entries for the auctions plugin into WC Vendors Pro front-end forms.
You’d need to create the form with the proper ID in your functions.php and then add the code to display the fields in your product-edit.php
