I understand that vendors can go into dashboard-settings-shipping and input their max shipping charge per order. Is there a way for an Admin to go in and manually do this? As an Admin, I see many options that I can change manually for vendors, but i don’t see an option to change “max shipping charge per order”.

    Hi Anna,

I have looked through the settings several times and don’t see where vendors would input the “maximum amount charged per order”. Where do they input this option? Could you send a screenshot maybe?

    Thank you!

I have a question. There is the option to have one shipping charge for multiple of the same item but not an option to have one shipping charge for multiple different items from the same vendor. It would make no sense to charge a customer several times if the items are coming in the same box from the same vendor. I need a solution to this. Is this something you can help with?

    Yes,

Sorry to specify, I have the settings for the individual item shipping. I am looking for the shipping options for the max shipping price for the entire order.

    Thanks again.

    Hi Anna,

Thank you for the fast response. Where could I find those settings?

    Hi Anna,

Yes, I currently have flat rate shipping enabled. My problem is that when a user decides to order multiple different products from the same vendor on the site, the shipping price from each separate product is applied to the final price.

    Consider this hypothetical situation:
    Item 1: $10 shipping $5 per item
    Item 2: $5 shipping $2 per item
    Item 3: $7 shipping $3 per item

    Customer order
    Item 1 x 3
    Item 2 x 2
    Item 3 x 3
    *All from same vendor*

    Current Checkout:
    Item 1: $30 for product & $5 for shipping
    Item 2: $10 for product & $2 for shipping
    Item 3: $21 for product & $3 for shipping

Total: $61 for products & $10 for shipping
    Complete total: $71

Is there an option for these products that are being sent to the same recipient to have a bulk shipping option that has a similar checkout to this one that follows?

Total: $61 for products and $5 shipping (from the highest shipping price)

In the case of my site, we are dealing with products that require overnight shipping so shipping prices are much higher than usual standard ground.

Our clients would be deferred if they wanted to buy a bundle of these products together because of the extremely magnified shipping prices.

    Our hypothetical situation:
Item 1: $10 shipping $40 per item: (all overnight shipping – necessary)
Item 2: $5 shipping $20 per item: (all overnight shipping – necessary)
Item 3: $7 shipping $30 per item: (all overnight shipping – necessary)

    Customer order
    Item 1 x 3
    Item 2 x 2
    Item 3 x 3
    *All from same vendor*

    Current Checkout:
    Item 1: $30 for product & $40 for shipping
    Item 2: $10 for product & $20 for shipping
    Item 3: $21 for product & $30 for shipping

Total: $61 for products & $90 for shipping
    Complete total: $151

Should be $101 if everything is fitting in the same expedited overnight package.

We need a solution that follows the Amazon idea where one shipping price can be used for a bulk order to a specific shipping address, otherwise this could be a huge turnoff for site use.

Please let me know how you can assist with a solution.

    Thank you,
    Cameron

So if instead I have instant pay enabled which has the customer send two payments when checking out (one to the vendor and one to the website) would I incur a PayPal fee of the full amount? Or just a fee on the commission that I am receiving?
