    Hi @johnhendley

I’ve spent more time trying to debug this without success. Unfortunately I don’t have any microsoft certifications to understand why this is breaking either. I spoke to some of the people within the wordpress community who have worked with IIS and they recommended against using IIS for complex WP sites. There are still open trac tickets with wordpress core related to IIS that have not been resolved. I’m not sure if these are related but need to be taken into account. I’ve been doing research to see if I can find out why this is happening and all I can find is people mentioning server configuration issues which is related to your hosting company. Can you contact them regarding these issues and see if they have any other reports of error 500’s with wordpress sites and how they resolved them?

    cheers,

    jamie.

    Hello,

I have to modify wc vendors and wc vendors pro to support multiple dashboard page configurations. This will allow you to set your different language dashboard pages. If you want to allow your vendors to submit their products in two languages at the same time, then you’ll have to custom code that. If you just want to have 2 complete functioning dashboards that the vendors then have to submit products in english, then again in arabic this will be supported soon, but currently is not.

To say that we are not helping you is just not true. You are having problems with a 3rd party plugin we didn’t write. 3rd party plugin support is not covered by our support at all but we are still doing our best to help, integrate and support it. WPML is not a small or simple plugin which makes it hard for us to support something like this. It’s not as simple as making it work, I need to understand what the plugin requires so that we can support it. This means I have to read a lot of source code that someone else wrote, this all takes time.

    cheers,

    Jamie.

    Hi John,

Something other than wordpress is causing an error 500. I have tried to recover this but I think it is IIS messing up. I tried renaming our plugin, then the plugins dir, disabling all plugins via the database and then finally changing the database password in wp-config to stop the system from even connecting to the database. The 500 error continues. Are you able to get your host to investigate if the re-write module has any issues and if the configuration for this has a problem?

    Hello,

No commissions are processed at time of sale unfortunately. Although I will add this to a future feature investigation as it would be good to have this. I would suggest exporting the commissions and running a calc in a spreadsheet to work out dues as your only option.

    Hello,

You had your commission set to 1% on the pro Commissions tab. There for commissions are working exactly how they should :). We are unable to disable the free commission fields with our current settings framework. So you can ignore the free commission fields and remember to use the pro fields. I am working on updating our settings system so we can safely hide these fields in an upcoming release.

I’ve set your commissions to 80 on the Commissions tab. Let me know how you go.

    Hello,

I’ve just checked version 1.2.5 and every version before and after and I have never used List Product as the button label. This means that your theme is changing this. Which also means your theme is using out of date templates. You can check this by looking at the woocommerce status page. I can see that your screenshot is not using storefront for the theme. If you were to install storefront and switch then try again, you will see that we have Add Product or Save Product as the button label as per our templates.

You’ll have to contact your theme developer and get them to update to our most recent templates.

    cheers,

    Hello,

    Short Answer: No.

    Long Answer: Yes, read on.

Our product supports adding a product in whatever language wordpress is configured to run in. If that’s english, arabic, klingon or whatever then our plugin supports inputting in that language. If you need to run multiple languages on your front end and allow inputting in multiple languages then you need to use a third party plugin such as WPML or xqtranslate. This is the same for ANY plugin not just ours. If you need multi language input with the Pro front end then you’re going to have to get some custom code developed to allow your vendors to submit in multiple languages. Our plugin is compatible with the two mentioned plugins which will make the custom code much easier to write, but it is up to you to get it written.

    cheers,

    Jamie.

    Hi John,

There is something really weird going on with that server. I’m unable to rename folders. I can save and edit files. I can create new folders but cannot rename. I’ve managed to 500 the site again and even commenting out the primary class file so nothing loads still gives a 500. Do you have a way I can access log files too?

    Hello,

I’m working on this in the next day or so. Also note that she would not have been able to buy from 13 vendors at the same time anyway. Paypal limits 6 people in the transaction which means the marketplace + 5 vendors. This is not something we can program around this is a limitation of paypal. I’m trying to work out a way that will notify the customers if they try and add products from more than 5 vendors at a time when the adaptive payments system is active. The only way around this is to disable the adaptive payments and use a standard gateway and pay your commissions after the fact.

    cheers,

    Jamie.

in reply to: Paypal Adaptive #49343
    Jamie
    Keymaster

    Hello,

    1) Yes you can disable the standard paypal and only use the adaptive system.
    2) When you have pro enabled there is a second commission override in the users screen, please make sure you’re setting this one.
    3) What you are looking for is chained payments which we do not support. If you want instant payment then parallel payments will show the split on the paypal side. You can use standard paypal and then pay commissions on a schedule if you don’t want to show this split. We are looking to support chained payments in the future.

    4) Shipping is checked in the following order. Product > Settings > Global. If vendors want to have the same shipping for all products, then they would set at their settings level only. If they have only some products that require shipping, set it at the product level. If you have vendors that don’t set shipping at all but are still shipping products then either educate them to set shipping or set a global rate.

    cheers,

    Jamie.

    Hello,

Tax is still on the cards however I haven’t worked out exactly how to do this. The big problem we have at the moment is that tax is done at a card level and our vendor orders are per product. To create a tax system that works with various jurisdictions that vendors can set is not an easy task if it’s even possible at all.

Once 1.4 is complete and out the door I will have time to look into this in further detail.

    Hi John,

During my debugging I managed to error 500 the entire site. Can you disable pro again for me (you’ll have to rename the folder for wordpress to disable it). Also could you possibly give me FTP access so I can continue debugging. The only thing I have been able to confirm is yes it is indeed something in pro. Now I need to function by function debug pro to see what is killing it.

    Hi Danny,

It would have been easier to just disable the check for dashboard page on the -public class. I do this to stop our scripts and styles from loading on ALL pages of your front end because I don’t want to mess with a theme and theme authors can be lazy sometimes which leads to some serious style issues.

I will be providing a multi page selector however it requires that I modify free and pro which takes a bit of time. This is due to the settings framework that we inherited.

    Hi John,

I can see you’re running your website on a Windows IIS server. WordPress and a lot of plugins (probably including ours) will have issues on this platform. There are a lot of quirks to get and keep WordPress running well on such a platform. I would highly recommend moving to a *nix based web host if you possibly can. Yes you can install WordPress on IIS but I have yet to see a site run well on this.

I’ll do what I can do to interpret your log as its coming from IIS and I don’t know what the fields in the log represent. So i’m making some assumptions. I see that you’re getting a 500 on the seller page. Have you saved your permalinks after activating Pro? What are your permalinks set to? Is the IIS server running a rewrite module at all?

    Hello

Changing themes will not erase the changes and config you have done for your existing theme. We ask that people switch to a simple theme that doesn’t have an extremely complicated front end added so that we can see if there is a conflict. DIVI is known to conflict with a lot of plugins that do front end stuff including ours sometimes.

This is to confirm if it is our code or something your theme is doing. If everyone reports an issue then its our code, if only some do, then we have to work out what in your configuration is different and why it doesn’t work.

    cheers,

    Jamie.
