Thank you for letting me know that this is a new feature in WooCommerce Bookings that is not yet included in our integration.
I will add this request to the enhancements list for our Bookings integration.

    Hello,

Would you recommend the REVENDOR child theme of REHUB?

There are quite a few users who have this theme and are pleased with it. I am not very familiar with it– I tried it and thought it looked good but a bit complicated.. however if you want the buddypress social integration it seems to work good for that. The author of that theme is responsive and helpful it seems, and updates more often than most of the other themes that have special WC Vendors design.

Will I be able to aprove vendors that sign up?

Yes. In wp admin > woocommerce > wc vendors > general, you can choose to approve vendors automatically or manually. If you want o approve them first before they are given the vendor role, then choose to approve manually.

    Hello,

In the Pro version, if you can?

You cannot assign a product to more than one vendor with WC Vendors or WC Vendors Pro.

Could I do it if I create copies of the product by each salesperson?

You can duplicate a product, and assign the new duplicate to a new vendor.

Can you allocate a commission to each product instead of a%?

In either free or Pro, you can override the site default commission % on a per product basis. The is a Commission option for admin when listing a product.
In Pro, you have further options for commissions: you can set a fixed commission amount, fixed amount + fee, percentage, or percentage + fee. these can be overridden from the site default on a per product basis also.

    Hello,
You’d need to alter the functions that you can find in this file, which shows the username of the vendor. We altered the original post “author” option so that it will display vendors.
    wp-content/plugins/wc-vendors/classes/admin/class-product-meta.php
    Starting on line 87:

    public function vendor_selectbox( $args )

    Hello,
The only tax settings we have available in WC Vendors is the WooCommerce tax settings that are created & set by admin.
I do see your dilemma with the tax choices being crazy if you were to add all of the various areas across the USA. However, we do not have another option. Just the admin tax settings.
Vendors cannot add their own rates at this time. We hope that perhaps in the future we can offer more robust tax settings, but at this time that is not a project that is being actively developed as we need to change some other core code to allow for this type of feature to be integrated or built into WC Vendors.

Try deactivating WC Vendors Pro and then reactivating it.
If you do not get an update notification shortly thereafter, you can download your update from your account here: https://www.wcvendors.com/my-account/downloads/
and manually update WC Vendors Pro.
    To manually update:

    1. back up your site (optional safe measure)
    2. download the latest Pro version from your account here: https://www.wcvendors.com/my-account/downloads/
    3. deactivate & then delete your current WC Vendors Pro (info/settings are stored in your database….)
    5. Immediately upload the new Pro version zip you downloaded from my-account.
    6. Activate Pro

If you are using the One Social/Social Marketplace by BuddyBoss, please notify them of this issue, as it has been happening with that theme.

If you are not using that theme.. please open a support ticket and share your WooCommerce system status and we’ll look into this further.

    Hello,
So the original submission of the product is fine- but when a vendor EDITS a product and submits an edit, the gallery images disappear?
Have you tried switching to Storefront and deactivating the BuddyBoss Marketplace plugin to test and see if this may be causing the issue? I do think I recall this happening with that theme & plugin (Marketplace and OneSocial) in the past..

    Hello,
    1. With Wc Vendors Pro, vendors can create their own coupons for their products, however, admin created coupons do not calculate properly for vendor products.
    2. Marketica is not one I would particularly recommend, as they do not always promptly update the templates of ours that they override. Most properly coded WooCommerce compatible themes will work with WC Vendors & WC Vendors Pro. Once in a while there are javascript conflicts with some of the more complicated themes that have fancy scrolling and such.
You do not need any special designing from a theme fore WC Vendors- that’s optional. It just needs to be Properly coded WooCommerce compatible.

    Hello,
We currently do not have any weight based calculations available for vendor shipping. the WooCommerce shipping or plugins designed for WooCommerce shipping will not be able to calculate for vendors properly, because they are designed to be set by the site admin and calculate based upon a single one cart basis- not per product like the commissions for the vendors.

    Hello,
It would not be a problem, but if the shortcode is working as intended, adding the show_products =’no’ will show ALL vendors on the site- even if they do not have any products for sale or listed in their store. The default setting is show_products = ‘yes’ , and in that case, it will only show vendors who have products listed for sale in their store.

    Hello,
We do not add the breadcrumbs or title to the page.
We hook into the WooCommerce archive-product.php page to show the vendor store pages.
So if you have settings in your theme, or from a third party plugin for breadcrumbs, you may be able to remove them using settings.
Otherwise, you would likely need to write some conditional php to remove the title and breadcrumbs for the archive-product.php pages, or if the page is a vendor store.

Ok- yes, hopefully we can get that bug fixed soon.
For the vendor list, does Handy have their own page for that I cannot remember if they have a special design for that page, and if our shortcode has been altered at all for that theme. I know they do have some special designing in their theme for WC Vendors, and I think the vendor list is one of the pages they alter.
Are you only having issues with the one vendor? Do the other vendors (the ones who have products) show up without having the show_products=’no’ in the shortcode?

    Hello,
If you are using a third party plugin for the music uploads, then these fields will not be built into our front end forms.
Fields can be added to our Pro front end forms, however. functions can be custom coded to create fields form some third party plugins so that they will show in our front end forms.
Please see this example (added a text and checkbox fields from the WooCommerce Gift Wrap plugin):
    https://www.wcvendors.com/kb/integration-woocommerce-product-gift-wrap/

If you need assistance from a developer to integrate these into your WC Vendors Pro, we usually recommend https://codeable.io for getting a quote for a developer to help with the work.

    Hello,
Well that theme should not affect the dashboard templates at all.
Please try directly modifying the template and saving it to your child theme.
    Copy this template:
    wp-content\plugins\wc-vendors-pro\templates\dashboard\reports\overview.php
To this location (you may have to create the folders):
    wp-content/themes/your-child-theme/wc-vendors/templates/dashboard/reports/overview.php

Now, modify this line, should be line 31:

    <h3><?php _e( 'Commission Due', 'wcvendors-pro'); ?></h3>

Change the Commissions Due to whatever is appropriate.
Save. Check and see if the modified template has applied the changes.

I would recommend that you work with a developer to have the commissions due coded to trigger when you want, if this is possible. Hello,
That would e something you would have to ask PayPal- I am not sure if they provide this type of access. I mean, they must in some fashion, as basically that is what is being done with PayPal adaptive payments.
Are you not able to use PayPal Adaptive payments? If you can use this, then you are able to use the settings to schedule payments to the vendors via your paypal account.
If not, then contact paypal and see what options you may have for configuring a payment system.

    Hello,
I am taking a look at the code , as there is a filter, but it is a little confusing to change it with the way it is written. If needed I will check with our lead developer so he can give me a bit of assistance if I cannot figure it out.
The filer is wcv_simple_auctions_auction_type and (I am not sure of your php knowledge) if you want to take a look or take a crack at it, you can see the function here:
    plugins/wc-vendors-pro-simple-auctions/class-wcv-simple-auctions.php

in reply to: Multiple Shipping Option #77499
    Anna
    Member

    @johnnyd65 Hello,
Ok- let’s start fresh, shall we? I will be glad to answer your questions so that you can understand the vendor shipping more clearly.

    1) Will vendors be able to set their shipping, as they see fit, for stores exclusive of any settings that may have already been set (or should my cousin, as admin/site owner, set NOTHING and activate Vendor Shipping only)? She does want this to be the case, all stores/shops independent of one another, and the main site, setting everything as they see fit within certain guidelines, of course!

Yes. The purpose of the Vendor Shipping module in WC Vendors Pro is to allow the vendors to set up their own rates, as also to receive the shipping funds collected with their commission for that product order. Short answer- yes, she should set the Vendor Shipping as a standalone, and configure the default settings for Vendor Shipping (this is so that something is collected if a vendor leaves the shipping settings blank int heir dashboard), and then NOT enable any of the regular WooCommerce shipping methods.

    2) Besides the Vendor Shipping tag, which is accessible either through WC Vendors Pro or directly through WooCommerce, should any of the other tabs (Shipping Zones, Shipping Options, Shipping Classes) be filled out/utilized if Vendor Shipping is checked off as Standalone?

No- you should not use any of the WooCommerce shipping settings & tabs, with the exception of free shipping. However that free shipping will ALWAYS allow a customer to choose free shipping- so it is best left disabled.

    3) If using Vendor Shipping, do vendors have the option to provide free shipping for orders over $XX (a certain amount), and if it doesn’t qualify then flat rate, per item, etc. will kick-in at that time?

Yes! 🙂 There is that option in Vendor Shipping. IF the free shipping threshold(s) is not met, then the other shipping settings configured by the vendor will apply.

    4) Should ANYTHING be set under Product shipping tab (see attached images), or does this need to be blank?

This is an option for the vendor. This allows the vendor to change the shipping rates or rules (override the defaults) for a particular product, if needed. For instance, if it is a particularly heavy product, and the shipping cost needs to be greater than the default shipping rate that the vendor has set in their pro dashboard > settings > shipping. this absolutely does not NEED to be filled out at all. It is just there for the vendor to have the option to override the default shipping rates set for a product if they wish. If the fields are left blank, the default shipping rate that the vendor has set in the shipping settings will apply.

    5) Any thoughts on why we’d see just one vendor having the Calculate Shipping option (see attached image)?

    This could be due to:
    1. the woocommerce shipping rates that are showing/enabled or
    2. (more likely) The vendor that does not have the calculate shipping does not have his/her store shipping address fields filled in, so it is not able to calculate. Please test these options and let me know if the issue persists.

    6) Will doing what you recommended above for Test123, along with replies to questions 1-3 above, only show a single option (shippings cost, free shipping if order exceeded minimum, etc.) that we’re looking for?

Yes- I believe so. If not, let me know and we can see if either there is a setting that is not correct, or if something is not being understood. the customer should only see the vendor shipping rate– for national or international, and “free” if the threshold for “free” has been reached.

    Hello,
Try testing with ONLY WC Vendors, WC Vendors Pro and WooCommerce plugins active. Deactivate all others.
If that fails to resolve the issue, Please try enabling all fields and working backwards by re-disabling them one by one to see if you can find a particular one which causes this issue.
I have tried to replicate this on my development site, and have not been able to do so. Each time I am able to hide fields and have the proper fields show on the front end form.
