    Hello,
    We do not provide refunds for these, as you are paying for support and upgrades for the plugins.

    Did you ever try the suggestions I made to see if we could isolate the original issue you had when using WC Vendors Pro?

    Hello,
    We do not have an integration built into WC Vendors or WC Vendors Pro. You would need to have this custom developed for your website.

    Hello,

    My theme developer (BuddyBoss) told me this: JavaScript error from the WC Vendor plugin disrupts proper functionality of the jQuery library. This frequently results in a faulty fronted, which can then render a multitude of errors like unresponsive submit button.

    Interesting, that.

    I am not getting this error at all on my testing site.. I just tested by adding a store banner.
    I am running:
    Storefront
    WC Vendors 1.9.12
    WC Vendors Pro v1.4.4

    Are you running v 1.4.4 of Pro?

    Hello,
    If you deactivate all plugins except WC Vendors, WC Vendors Pro and WooCommerce, does this still occur?

    This will be fixed in our next update. Yes, you can still run Pro. This message is erroneously appearing on some live installs and some hosts/server configurations.

    Hello,
    In order to implement this on your site, you would need to work with third party plugins and also likely some custom development to limit the number of product publishings/listings allowed per vendor based upon this “level”.
    I have used the plugin paid memberships pro for memberships; however, I did not work in a product listing limitation per vendor.

    Hello,
    Try switching to the Storefront theme, and see if this still occurs.
    If so, then deactivate all plugins except WooCommerce, WC Vendors and WC Vendors Pro- then check the fields.
    I am guessing it is your theme, and in that case, you will need to work with CSS to fix these fields (line-height, height, etc.).

    Hello,
    First, you must update your Pro version- then try and enter the license.
    The new license will only activate with Pro v1.3.8++
    Also, be sure you have also updated WC Vendors (free) and WooCommerce to the latest versions when you update WC Vendors Pro to our new version. 1.3.7 is not compatible with WooCommerce 3++

    Hello,

    The commissions can be viewed in wp admin > woocommerce > commission. You have date sorting options, as well as vendor sorting options.

    Yes- you can do so.
    You just go to wp admin > users… find the user. One on that user’s screen, you have the option to change their wp role. Select vendor. πŸ™‚

    Hello,
    You can hide the pro dashboard from non-vendors.
    One way to do this is to hide it in your menu using the plugin Nav Menu Roles. You then go to your wp admin > appearance > menus, and under each menu item you have the option to only show that menu item to certain user roles.

    If you also wish to remove the “apply to become a vendor” checkbox, then you can do so in your WC Vendors settings:
    wp admin > woocommerce > wc vendors > general: Allow users or guests to apply to become a vendor (leave this un-checked)

    Yes- download and configure. You do not need php knowledge to use WC Vendors or WC Vendors Pro.
    It helps to know a little if you want to customize the plugin, but you do not NEED to do any customization for WC Vendors to work for running your WooCommerce multi-vendor marketplace. It is ready to go! πŸ™‚

    in reply to: Q: How to make over Vendor Pro Dashboard ? #75971
    Anna

    Hello,
    These adjustments to the dashboard page can mostly be made with CSS.
    I am not certain about changing the menu to RTL, but you could align the menu items differently on that side with CSS.. I think that can just be done with float: right; CSS….

    Try these in your child theme style.css .. or in wp admin > appearance > customize > additional css:

    This will make the menu float right, and also change the color of the buttons to gray and add a margin so they are separated:

    .wcv-navigation ul.menu.horizontal li {
        background: #777;
        margin: 2px;
        float: right;
        position: relative;
    }

    This will make the background of the menu transparent:

    .wcv-navigation ul.menu.black {
        background: transparent;
    }

    Hello,
    You’ll need to remove the vendor role, if it was not removed with the uninstall.. you can do so with User Role Editor plugin. Also the pending_vendor role. I have no idea what the roles are for the other plugin (they may be named the same thing, vendor), so be sure you are only removing our vendor role.
    If tables remain in your database, they are pv_commissions and wcv_feedback

    Hello,
    Those configurations on that page are only for paypal adaptive payments.
    Stripe Commissions & Gateway plugin settings are located here: wp admin > woocommerce > settings > checkout > stripe connect

    However—- Stripe connect is ONLY instant payments- no scheduled or manual. Only instant split of commissions at checkout– the admin commission to the admin Stripe account, and the vendor’s commission to the vendor’s Stripe account.

    Hello,
    Our test gateway is meant for testing. It is ONLY for testing. Transactions are not actually processed at all through a payment processor. If you have this enabled, it allows you to test your set-up without actually charging, and without using any particular payment processor. The transactions are just run through the system- not actually charging any card or payment method at all. It is for testing that the system, up to but excluding the payment processor, is working properly (commissions, shipping calculations, etc.).

    Hello,

    WC Vendors Pro: by WC Vendors – 1.3.9
    WC Vendors: by WC Vendors – 10000.8.7

    I’m not sure what’s up with your WC Vendors free version.. the current version is 1.9.12. Is that a custom modified WC Vendors or something?

    You are also running an outdated version of WC Vendors Pro which is not compatible with WooCommerce 3.++ The latest version is 1.4.4.

    Please make sure you are using current versions of both of our plugins first- then test the attributes and see it if is working properly. It is important that you update so that you are compatible with WooCommerce 3.++ and also so that our latest updates and fixes are in place. We did update select2 for v1.4.4

    If not, please notify me and describe exactly what is happening when you attempt to add attributes.

    Hello,
    Due to the way we restrict vendor access to the admin with WC Vendors Pro, this can occur. However, I wrote some code that I think could help.
    This is a two step process. The first part of the code will allow the contributor role to “manage woocommerce” (we use that capability to allow access to the admin). Then they can access admin.
    Then, the second part of the code will remove the woocommerce menu from their admin screen- so they do not have access to woocommerce as a menu item.

    See if this will work. Put the below code in your child theme’s functions.php file:

    Hello,
    You can use any WooCommerce compatible processor/gateway to collect customer payments.
    You will just have to pay your vendors their due commissions manually.
    The only two payment gateways that will allow an instant payment of commissions at checkout are PayPal adaptive payments or our Stripe Commissions & Gateway plugin.
    However, many, many of our users do not use paypal or Stripe, but use another payment gateway of their choice.
    They then pay their vendors manually via whatever method they choose (bank, check, paypal, other methods) on whatever schedule they choose.
    Due commissions for vendors is shown in your admin : wp admin > woocommerce > commission
    You can check what vendor(s) have due commissions- shown as “DUE”, pay them, and then go back and mark the commissions that you have paid to them as “PAID”.

    Are you not receiving the email when you receive a vendor application?
    An email should fire when someone applies to become a vendor on your site.
    If you are not getting this email, please see our email debugging steps:
    https://www.wcvendors.com/kb/debugging-mail-issues/

    Specifically most users find that the Postman SMTP plugin https://wordpress.org/plugins/postman-smtp/ is very helpful, since you can check the logs and make sure the emails are being dispatched. It also helps you fix many common issues with emails being sent and received.

    Hello,
    I think we may have some confused communication..
    I meant, did your test transaction (shown in the screenshot above, with the error) involve a product form a vendor that is using the same paypal email that you, as site admin, have associated with your admin paypal adaptive payments credentials?
    The customer doe snot have to use their paypal email until they get to the paypal screen for payment, no. Or they can just use a credit card.

    I was referring to the vendor’s email. The vendor of the product that was being purchased. Sometimes that error shown in your screenshot will happen when the vendor’s paypal email and the site admin’s paypal (paypal adaptive payments) email are the same.

    Essentially are you trying to test transactions using your own paypal account for the site admin and the vendor both?

    Hello,
    If the gateway/processor is compatible with WooCommerce, you can use it to accept your customer payments.
    However, since it is not integrated with WC Vendor,s you would receive all payments to the admin MercadoPago account. Then, admin can pay the vendors their due commission manually using whatever method and on whatever schedule. The only way vendors can be paid their commission instantly upon checkout is by using the paypal adaptive payments or our Stripe Commissions & Gateway plugin.

    @mydrobby
    Hello,
    Your WC Vendors Stripe Commissions & Gateway plugin is a yearly license. You purchase the Stripe Commissions & Gateway plugin each year for another year of support and updates to the plugin. You do not pay us, WC Vendors, anything for transactions or per use of the plugin, no.

    Your vendors will pay the Stripe fees for the transactions.. please see Stripe’s website for more information about the fees associated with Stripe.

    Hello,
    If a buyer creates an account at checkout, they will receive the “customer” role.
    You can allow a customer to apply to become a vendor, either on the my-account registration page (before they have the customer role) or via the WC Vendors dashboard (after they have the customer role).
    You can set your settings in WC Vendors to accept vendor application manually- meaning, they will need your admin approval before they are given the vendor role and allowed to open a store and sell on your site.
    You also have the option to completely disable users from being able to apply to become a vendor if you wish.

    As far as buddypress goes- I think a customer role would also be given a buddypress profile by default. there are a lot of rules & options within buddypress, and if you do not find the right restrictions, there are also a lot of third party plugins that will help you lock down your buddypress to only certain roles or members based upon your criteria.

    Word of advice– you have 74 active plugins- some of them pretty heavy ones.
    If you find your site is slow or you start having issues/conflicts, you may wish to consider scaling down the amount of plugins you use for best results.

    Hello,
    I did reply by saying that this is an open issue that is being investigated, and our lead developer is working to see if he can change this so that fields that are hidden form vendors can retain information that has been entered by admin. This would actually be an enhancement, not a bug, as the fields are properly hidden as intended. It is actually not an easy adjustment to make. Our forms and fields are largely designed for vendors to be entering the data, so when admin wants to be able to have control over only some aspects, it presents quite the challenge. Those fields were originally intended to be hidden because they would not be used, not that admin would fill them in and vendors could only fill in some fields- but not others.

    I will update you if I receive any information about the progress of this issue.
